"Thirty Years of Flavor" Chocolate's 30-Year Party Photos
12/10/2024
York, RANDLE, Iannucci, Hecox! With the help of Deckaid and eBay, Chocolate celebrated 30 years of iconic graphics, photos, videos and friendship. It was a night full of hazing, love and a bunch of OGs reminiscing about the good ol’ days. Scroll through, Paco. —Rye Beres
Tried to channel my inner Sunset Series on the drive over
First pro sighting of the night, my neighbors Taylor Kirby and Cody Chapman
Stoked to see two of Chocolate’s finest, Devine Calloway and Stevie Perez
Greeted at the door by my surfer friend Rickk
First things first, the original portrait series by Evan Hecox, circa 1997
Back panel on judge mode!
Uh oh, someone’s gonna be in trouble
Cutting it close there, Daniel
Honorary Trunk Boy Grant Taylor
Pen pals, Grant Taylor and Mike Kershnar
A couple more familiar faces
Chocolate’s art director Carlos Gutierrez on the ones-and-twos
One of my favorite series. Wonder if this is where FA got the idea?
Oh shit, The Mez and Al, AKA Sketch AKA Alfresko
Beautiful memorial for Keenan and Gabriel. Gone but never forgotten
Imagine the switch flips that went down on this—heavy!
Amazing collection of photos from the last three decades
Did I purposely time up this photo with the Thrasher cover logo? Duh!
The famous Stevie Williams sponsor-me tape that eventually turned into his Chocolate Tour part
It’s proven that Royals can withstand nuclear warfare
Stolling catching up on some Beta gold
You’re supposed to look the other way, Frank!
Taking a break from the streets of LA, we got lensmen Robin Wilson and Taylor Ballard
