Backstage at a Dirty Nasty show, photographing him for the Beauty and the Beast article, I noticed this tall Armenian with an afro and dark sunglasses. When Dirt asked if he could join him for the photo, I said no problem and asked his name. “Andre Legacy,” was his response. I went back to the pad and Googled him—soon enough, Bender and Blow Off My Dick are in heavy rotation along with the rest of the Dyslexic Speed Reader's mixed tape. Here's a little interview Moose handled at the Exotic Erotic. —Schmitty

How did you get hooked up with Mickey Avalon and Dirt Nasty?
Shit man, I’ve known Mickey since sixth grade, back when we were in elementary school. Then we met Dirt five years back and we've been rollin' ever since, baby!

What's good about Hollywood?
Too many things. The women, the nightlife, the clubs, the drugs, the debauchery; it’s all there, baby. You think Vegas is Sin City? Don't get caught up, kid.

What sucks about Hollywood?
The cracked-out faked kids thinking they're cool when they ain't shit.

How did you get involved with Paris Hilton's BFF show?
Basically, Dirt’s been friends with Paris for quite a while and had been doing the MTV circuit. Her people knew us pretty well, so she hooked us up. You know me and Dirt; we're just whores for extra exposure.

Did either you or Dirt hook up with any of the girls? Are you kidding me?
Did you see what they looked like? I thought I walked into a train wreck. But we still love you, Paris. Thanks baby.

Tell me about the skateboard you found at your mom’s house recently.
Randy Colvin, World Industries.

Dude, you could get three to five G’s on eBay for that shit. There's like 500 of those in existence.
Word, really? Maybe I should go sell it then…

What’s your nationality? Armenian and Russian. Do you feel like you guys are underdogs in the rap music game?
I don’t feel like we’re the underdog anymore. We used to be the underdog—now everyone knows who we are, so now I feel like we’re the favorite, ya know.

Who are some people outside your crew you want to work on future projects with?
A lot of people really. I was supposed to collaborate with Raekwon from Wu-Tang but haven't got around to it, because he was so busy and I was on tour. RZA also came to one of my shows at the Viper Room recently with my boy Shavo from System Of A Down. I like to work with those two cats also.

What’s up with the new Dyslexic Speedreaders' mixtape?
It’s Hot! Twenty Cuts. Myself, Mickey Avalon, Dirt Nasty, Beardo, drops from every celebrity and athlete from Kimbo Slice to Ron Artest, Li’l John, Mark Ronson and DJ AM—the list goes on. Go get it. Don't sleep!

Are free downloads and the Internet going to kill music eventually?
I don't know. There’s good things about it and bad things. Nobody buys CDs anymore, but everybody downloads music, so you get notoriety. You don't get too many record sales off of CDs but kids know your music and come out to the shows to show support. That’s how the game is now.

Play the fuck/marry/kill game with Britney Spears, Paris Hilton, and Lindsay Lohan.
Jeez, this one’s probably going to get me in trouble. Britney you kill, Paris you marry, and I guess if I really had to, I'd fuck Lindsay. I'm a team player.

Do you have any other hobbies? What do you like to do besides party and make ill music?
When I'm not partying, making music, or doing shows, I usually just like to chill, smoke a lot of weed, and catch a Laker game with the boys. Maybe go shoot some hoops down at Venice with Dirt.

What's the future hold for Legacy?
Good things, baby. More hits, more hits, and more hits.
